If like us (a week or so ago) you had not come across these fancy little patterns before, please let us introduce you to QR codes. These ever so slightly geeky yet most definitely ingenis pixelated ramblings will be appearing on all of our print material from her on in. Simply download a QR code reader on you (ever so) smart phone, scan one of the two images and be taken to the next level. It's the future, trust us.

We find ourselves once again knocking at the door of spring, with new booze blossoming lest right and centre and more tasty pies on the horizon than ever before. Exciting times.

Considering January and February as they are by their very nature we can't help thinking that we have been let off lightly all things considered.

We have seen Art in the UnderBelly throwing winter parties that quite frankly are the best yet, with a show from Chris Joyner that pushed the expropriation boundries and with almost 6 months of shows lined up we are set to continue in the same sensational vein it seems.

Live music continued (almost) every Thursday too! We were privileged to see the amazing Pat Falgate at his Rumsey debut, along with of course our beloved Albert Cooper maintaining possibly the best jazz night in Norwich. Coming up we can expect some exciting things from live Thursdays at the Rumsey. We have a new promoter, some brand new sounds and some exciting new acts lined up for the Rumsey! Please contact Dan Reynolds if you are interested in a gig.

In other exciting news we will continue to be finding any excuse to be throwing parties in the UnderBelly, art or otherwise. We have so much lined up for the bank holiday weekends we hardly no where to begin! Both bank holidays will be rammed packed with live acts and DJ's courtesy of Penny Arcade and Organic Electronic Collective.

We also have some very exciting news about our beloved concrete jubgle (the garden). We have commissioned Matt Nun (aka Earl Harlem) to re-design and install a brand new canopy for the summer months. Matt is an esteemed set designer and has been involved in all manor of projects including Bonanofana and the Norfolk & Norwich Festival.

Adnams have not had enough it seems with brewing beer, they are hell-bent on getting into the hard stuff too! Well why not we say.

Being brewed just across the boarder in Southwold we have it on good authority (Cocktail Society London, no less) that these brand new spirits are indeed top notch!

Worthy of any cocktail bartenders repetoire or perhaps just a ruddy good excuse to crack open a bottle of tonic and waste away an evening at the Rumsey.

From march we will have the whole range in stock, which includes a Barley Vodka, Distilled Gin, First Rate Gin, Oak Aged Vodka and Longshore Vodka.
